No not likely his issue would be the stress from bigger tires. The lift can be harder on cv's if you are going to a higher angle on them but your 2wd

----------

I'm not sure about he trannys in rangers but most trucks with 33's but again new to ranger

the lift wont hurt your trans but the larger tires will def put a strain on it.

well its not like the trans is going to explode the minute you put on the bigger tires but they will add extra strain to the trans and drivetrain. re-gearing is the best and pretty much only way to alleviate some of the stress on your trans and other drivetrain components. your stock 4.10's will help considering they are a fairly low gear to begin with but 4.56's would be ideal with that size tire, maybe even 4.88's because you have the 3.0

so with the lift nd bigger tires i should change my gearing....well i never done that haha. nd ur saying 4.56 r the best? cuz i cant redo this i want to get this done in 1 shot. nd i want my truck running close to how it is now.

Get bigger gears, if you really are trippin on it. 4.10s will push 33s fine.

yeah if you want it like it is now 4.56's will get you closest to that with 33's.

yeah and take good care of your tranny. change the fluid regularly and use good fluid, and if you are always driving hard its will take a toll on the tranny.
