I can't stand the carbon fiber look... so cheesy. Carbon Fiber is most often not even the lightest material available, and even when it is, it just looks like whoever's car it's on was to cheap to paint it.

not to turn this into a pissing match or anything..... but.... do you know WHY carbon fiber is used on vehicles?

Granted, on a radio bezel or a ricer, it's for looks and shoot..radio bezel isn't real carbon fiber. lol. It's used in the aeromotive industry and automotive because it's very stong, and very light. The real stuff. not the cheesy stickers. Why do you think it's used in Indy cars or land speed record cars and the like? Stong and light.

^^yes it is, but it's very rarely the lightest material available. Titanium alloys can be much lighter, stiffer, longer lasting, and rigid, however cost is quite another story. And carbon fiber has problems under only a clear coat with direct sun light and vibration. I'm just saying that it's sooooo over used in cars today, and it's flaunted like it's some kind of godly super light material that can do all.
