CB placement
i have a CB radio that i had in my old ranger. i sat at the edge of the seat, between the seat and the shifter knob (60/40 bench). i got a FX4 level II with 2 bench seats and an extended center console, no i have no idea where to put the CB. and it wont go above the mirror since ill be putting an ohc up next week

all good ideas. nut ive tried the door and glove box. id need to get me a smaller CB. it just wont fit

My CB is in the glove box. It works perfect for what i need it for.

I mounted mine on the dash under the rear view mirror, there was a very convenient hole in the dash already that dropped in right behind the radio then i used the wiring from the cig lighter to power that and my fogs, the lighter hole was broke anyway and i anything i plugged in to it just got in the way of me shifting. Works great then just got a handheld mount from The Shaft and put that next to the steering wheel.

ahh i needed this thread ha, i like yours a lot steven! i was thinkin bolted to my visor cus i have no mirrors on them but i wasnt sure if it would be strong enuff to hold them. what do you guys think?

Doubt it, if I'm right, which is a 50/50 chance, the visors are still made out of layered cardboard. They're only good for holding vanity mirrors, and maps/papers/etc. Not even a Cobra 19.
