another seat question....

Looked through the forum but couln't find anything... anyone know if you can fit 06 leather explorer seats or 07 mountaineer seats in an 02 FX4?

I've always wanted a blackleather interior, I'll just have to get some covers for the rear jump seats to match

negative. the mounts are completely different than the 95-01, and 03 ex sports/sport tracs. can they be made to work, probabaly. simple bolt in, no.

the mounts are different on 07'? I have seen them in jy's and they were just like mine

i know the 02+ (new body style explorer) are completely different seats and rails. i'll see if i can find some pics

here is a good picture to show how the 07 explorer front seat mounting point is...

we did a street rod not too long ago that has a set like these in it. he told me they were ex seats and i almost argued with him. then i realized they were newer than what we deal with for rangers.
