Expo cluster
Hey guys I'm putting an expo cluster in my truck tonight and before I install it was wondering if it'll light up blue? The numbers, when held up to light, are blue.
Is it the yellowish 194 bulbs that make the pale green color or do I have a uber rare blue set of gauge faces?

95-97 rangers and explorers had blue illumination. the color on the overlays determine the color. if they are blue, they will light up blue. i assume these are just standard black faced gauges, right?

This is a stock black gauge cluster from a '96 explorer. Did they ever light up blue instead of green?
I know green film on clusters will light up green but I've heard that the blue film ones will light up green because of the yellow-ish light that incandescent bulbs give off?

the coloring on the gauge is blue yes, but the yellow color form the bulbs will make it look green.

Exactly what I thought
So from here if I chose to do blue lighting would I do bore leds and clear gauges or white leds with blue gauges, by gauges I mean film. appreciate the quick response, thanks!

The white LED will produce the blue color you want.
