You need a switch and 12 V- DC leds you could split power from stereo power behind your console. The heat might screw up your LED's over time??

Find a hot wire that runs somewhere back there off another accessory (radio or something) and t-tap that wire for your power source. If you want to be able to manually turn the lights on and off whenever you want, you will have to run a new wire to your battery and a switch. Send me a PM if you need help, I can walk you thru it. I install interior LEDs and air-vent LEDs all the time in customer's vehicles

Just tap into the dash illumination power wire behind the radio bezel or dash... usually found at the fog light switch harness, 4x4 switch harness, headlight switch harness or behind the gauge cluster.

That will supply 12v whenever the dash lights are on.

All you'd need after that is a good ground.... and the proper resistors/voltage regulators for the led's.
