Default Buying my Explorer buckets today!

Buying these today for $50

http://omaha.craigslist.org/pts/2248623029.html

My only problem will be that they are grey and my interior is tan. I think I can make it work. So now I need to keep my eyes peeled for a Explorer center console. What can I use to custom make a shift boot for my stick shift?

Bump WITH PICTURES!!

Got the seats in today. They looked grey in the craigslist picture but turns out they are indeed tan. Now watching for an explorer center console, and a boot for the stick shift.

^^ My temporary center console

looks good! i like the way that looks and freeing up that space in between would be great for me. How hard was it to install the seats? Have to do anything special?

Thx for sharing!

for the OP, being a gen 3 truck, swap the tracks and they are a direct bolt in. so it depends on the year and cab.

Vince, they look great in there! I had a set like that at one time and they were really comfy.

It was really simple, just took some average mechanical knowlege. I un-bolted the sliding tracks from the old seats and they bolted right on to the new ones. Then bolted the whole thing to the floor. All the same holes, no drilling involved.

They are super comfy. They have a lot of options for just being a seat. I was supprised. The front pad slides out as a leg rest sort of, and they have lumber.

Are those the seats that have the expandable leg supports? Looks like they are, those cushions were you under knee would go slide out :P

sweet, I had the same seats in my ranger, the stx, must have come stock with those. I hated them, very uncomfy for me. The newer expoder seats I put in are a good fit for me.
