Default fog light button problem..?

ok so I took out the fog light button to do the LED mod and when I put everything back together the button will not stay on/pushed in. The lights work but the button on the panel will not stay pushed in so the lights won't go on..?

Is it snapped into the bracket properly?

yes I did a check and it seemed everything was snapped in properly.. However when I was trying to get the button out of the holder I was pulling on the button and it came out even further. So now when I push it in it won't stay in..

You probably popped the inner spring in it.

Did you take the switch completely apart?
If so, the spring probably got out of alignment & is just floating around not letting the switch work properly.
There's a little pin & groove that will keep the spring in place, but if your led is in the way, it won't work properly

That's the main reason I try to never do the fog light mod internally... unless I take extra precautions while installing the led.
