I've searched and not found an answer to my question. So...

Will the seats from a 2000 mustang bolt up to Ranger tracks (97, ext cab), and will there be an issue if the driver's seat is powered?

yes it will bolt to the tracks. the only issue (if you want to call it that) may be needing two longer bolts for the front of the drivers (i think). with a power seat, you will end up with a hole in the cover where the switch panel was.
