Dont go cheap and get a good one, One of the most popular ones ive seen are either Cobra 25 LTD Classic or the Cobra 29 LTD Classic. (I have the Cobra DX19IV, which is a good little compact model good if you dont do alot of highway driving like I do.) I cant give you the best advice on antennas, not that smart on them, as for mounting your cb, if you go with the 25/29 LDS classics on the headliner is your best bet. or if you have a compact one like mine, Inbetween the drivers and passenger seats. Like So

Someone else will chime in on this and probably improve or disagree with what ive said

I'm guessing you wouldn't be particularly receptive to the "don't install a CB radio" advice, huh?

I'd install one in my Ranger, if only there was better place to install it.

I don't want to put one on the roof, don't wanna put it by the seats, don't want to put it on the sides of the cup holder tray, don't want to put it on the dash, etc. The only place left for me is under the seat. Maybe one day I'll take a look and see if it's possible, but i'm in no hurry at all.
