Question speedometer color change problem!!

OK so I have followed the tutorial on this site by STL ( great tutorial by the way). I have taken out my dash and I have 6 of those black knobs with the 194 bulbs in them. So I replaced all of the bulbs with 194 blue LED that I got from canadian tire. However when I turn my lights on only the needls light up..??? Also the oil level and battery level gauges do not light up at all...? So does this mean that I have put the LEDs in the wrong way??

thanks

You could have the led's in backwards, meaning they're polarized & will only work in one direction. Remove the bulb holders one at a time & turn them around & re-install.
Also, check to make sure the little wires coming out of the led bulbs are making good contact inside the bulb holders, bend them out a little if needed.

ok so I got some plug in blue LEDs from canadian tire and they are actually pretty bright and there are no hotspots on my dashboard. I will post some pics tonight when it gets dark and let you guys have a look.
