Default 2 weeks having my Ranger back from shop!!

So its been two weeks now from having my Ranger back from the shop and another problem has just happen.

Driving down the interstate and I hear this click click coming from my engine. I look at my dash and my engine temp is going up. I pull into a gas station, look at my engine and have smoke coming out in the middle area of the engine. Then water and anti frezz is just running out under.

Sounds like it could be your heater core?

I wouldnt say heater core I would lean more toward cracked block, blown head gasket/ cracked head, waterpump, or intake

White smoke says head gasket, but I agree that antifreeze discredits heater core and hints at a cracked block.

Angry Re: 2 weeks having my Ranger back from shop!!

They want to charge me $1500.00 to fix it. After paying so much already and now this...

Figuring out if I should just walk away from it.
