re-covered my center console
I just bought some black fabric and stapled it under. I didn't even think about taking pics of the process, sorry
But here's the result, still need to fix the little opening in the indent by the cup holder, that'll be tonight.
Here's some pictures:
Before:
After:
I know it sticks out, but I'm in the market for some bucket racing seats with black cloth, and I'll rig that console up to sit at a similar hieght one I get those.
What do you think?

^I don't know, I went to joann's or something like that and found it for 6 bucks per 2 square yards. you should be able to find some at any fabric store I'd imagine. but I was thinking about covering the arm rests on my door panels too, but wasn't sure if it could be done.

^no it's almost like T-shirt fabric except not stretchy at all.
I'm doing my door handles soon, just gotta find a piece I can set in the door handle over the material cause it won't shape into that little hole at all.
^^^&^^Thanks!

thanks everyone, I'm just foamed up the handle in the armrests and getting ready to sand them once they dry, then I'm going to carpet them flush, I'll post pics of the process in a soon and what I used.
-TD
EDIT: what they look like now:
going to sand them down tomorrow when it's completely hardened. hopefully I'll be able to cover them, too, but we'll see.

they're done!
an hour with grandpa and some fabrix glue stuff plus patience and they came out beautiful:
they feel perfect, you can't even tell there's foam under there, and it looks really clean too without the handle.
what do you guys think?
