Default Carbon Fiber (look...) dash pieces

A little black paint and some very good new carbon fiber car wrap vinyl and some effort. The whole dash is going to be carbon fiber. It started as a beige piece.

The company that makes the material did a porcshe's dash that I saw and thought Id give it a whirl...

You know, I clicked on this thread with the intent of making fun of you for doing this. But I actually like it a lot. Kinda gives a modern look to our old ass dash.

By all the dash pieces, you mean that piece alone right? I think that's about perfect.

I was expecting to be laughed at... I did it just screwing around to see if it would work.

Im gonna cover the entire dash. I only have to paint (or find a black one) the window defroster passenger side vent cover. The whole cabin will be black, from tan stock. Every piece of tan plastic will be getting black paint or the carbon fiber treatment eventually.

I was thinking maybe I could pull dash parts at a junk yard, do them up and sell them on eBay or craigslist. : )

Oh, I missed the part where you painted that dash piece, so I assumed it was all black to begin with. Good luck, and post pictures or PM me them. I am extremely interested in this minor interior mod, lol.

that CF wrap looks legit. Most looks crappy and glossy, which I hate.

Ya know what I did is I have a roll bar with some KC's so I needed a switch and for me not being a smoker I yanked out the cig ash tray and cig liter and took a peice of fiberglass cut to fit , cut out holes for cig liter and a racing style switch covered it with carbon fiber vinal and screwed it up in there, works/looks damn good.

----------

BTW, Your dash Is awesome looking man similar to what I did (in a much larger scale though) haha
