Default OHC install

Its working! scary . Took a while but its working. Have an issue with the fit at the back of the console . there is a gap of about an inch and I am not sure how to fix that. Havent installed the lighted mirrors yet. Got this thing working and I called it a day. Any ideas on how to correct the gap let me know. I am thinking ,maybe moving the console further back . There is a little overhang in the front so I could move it back some that way the back will move up and possibly work. I dont know. I have more pics but not of the gap will take more later. Just wanted to let everyone involved in this console I did it!!!!

Awesome man! The problem you're having is with the trim molding at the front and top of your windshield. The 93+ Rangers don't have that molding, and the headliner just meets the windshield without a cover. That's also what the OHC does, but i'm betting your OHC is hittin that front molding.

That is what its doing but I thought that the curvatue of the console was made that way to conform to the shape at the windshield. That isnt quite matching up on mine. I do have an 86 ranger . Maybe they mount that way on the dinosaur trucks.

Put bracket end that you can see in the first picture above the the liner. So when you install the two screws in the back it will pull the liner down and the OHC up to meet.
