Default Need fix for cracked vinyl center arm rest

My vinyl center arm rest is cracking and I'm looking to get it fixed. Does anyone know any aftermarket sites that might sell just the cover or know any way to fix it. I'm thinking about going with always reliable duct tape but only as a temporary fix. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

If its the plastic that is cracked it would probably be cheaper just finding a whole other one in a junkyard or ebay

It's the part where your elbow sits. I'll see if I can get a pic up to show what I'm talking about.

Oh I know what you're talking about, they all crack there from people putting weight on it. I went through it and just ended up getting another one at the junkyard

it may be just as easy to get another one. it all depends on where/how it's cracking.

I'm having a hard time finding one online for an 04 and I don't really know what years/models are compatible with my XL.

my plastic part of the holder cracked all to hell and so i took off the armrest part and cut a think piece of plastic and epoxy gluedit to the armrest to make a new "base" and it worked great! until...i put 180 pounds (me) on it and it broke agian but it wont break when i finish it this weeekend with a bolt going in 4 corners

try it u wont see the plastic cuz itll be on the flip side.....getting one from ford means paying 90 for a whole new armrest

----------

btw the thick hard plastic i used was cut from a refrigerator door condiment holder lol
