Default Fixed interior trim panel of left rear door

Saturday, I fixed the inner rear door trim panel of my Ford Ranger that had been rattling.

I went to http://www.clipsandfasteners.com/ and bought a box of 50 Trim panel retainers. The total cost plus tax and shipping came to $20.23.

I believe they only sell them by the box so now I have extras for later use.

Don't forget to put loctite on the upper seatbelt retaining bolt.

How did you get the panel off without snapping the retainer/holders that the clips sit in? I put new speakers in my XLT and the upper left of the door panel snapped when I went to pull it. Any tips on that???

Only way I could save the mounts was to use a trim tool and only pry on the head of the push pin. Very trick to do but only way as the mount points on the door are so weak

Cool I'm not the only one. Too bad Ford couldn't mount the rear door panels like the front ones. I can remove and install the front door panels all day long without breaking anything. Dodge was the same way with their disposible plastic push pins that broke the damn panel everytime you had to take it off. Thanks for your feedback everyone!
