Default Wiring Leds

Hey I order a 28 LED board off of ebay. I am thinking about putting it under my dash so my foot petals will have that glow on it. I only order one because that's all they had at that price.

But my question is

Will it be fine if i add a switch and wire it directly to my 12v DC Car battery? They say the LEDs can handle a 12v DC but i am just wondering do i need to get a certain gauge wire or will regular thin hook up wire work? I have installed a amp and of course the amp is hooked to my 12v battery, to power it. But i just don't wont to overload my battery. I think i will be fine though but just want to ask sense i never installed LEDs in a car.. And i just dont wont nothing to catch on fire.

This is what i wonLED

And this is what i want to do.

LOL! Petals

But you should be fine if the board is rated for 12 volts. Just make sure that you wire in a fuse.

Alright i thought soo.
Do you think it will look nice and get a good glow like in the picture above?
Yeah I am going to try to do that. But ehmm i dont know how to wire in a in a fuse..
I think it comes with a fuse wire so i might just strip that wire and run a wire off of that to the 12v source and my switch.

find the button that makes the light come on in the crease where the door meets the body pull the plastic panel in the truck behind it and splice your ground(black wire 90% of the time) to it, it should only be one wire hooked up to the switch if i remeber right then connect the other end of the leds to a positive(the red or white "witch ever is the positive)wire to fuse or to the battery, and ever time u open ur door ur leds will light up but soo will the dome lite soo u might wanna pull the bulb out if u just want the leds on. and when u close the doors guess what happens, or u can wire(the positive wire) it to one of the leads in the dome lite and u can control it from your dome lite switch, simple as that dont confuse ur self doing it like i do,
