Default Dye

Any body have experience with dying parts of the interior. I am installing a set of grey lighted sunvisors and my interior is dark red. Would like to dye them. Where do I get some dye? Would the old fashioned Rit Dye be ok? Thanks

i wouldn't even tough anything cloth with dye. you can get them covered in matching red material for just a little more than the dye costs. not to mention the cloth will get a crusty feeling to it. i'm glad you posted this. it reminded me the pics i took of a truck we got in the shop that someone took a dye can to the interior. lets just say we now have to replace everything in the truck.
