Default Stereo mounting help

Hey guys. I just bought a new stereo receiver for my truck and a dash mounting kit for Fords 95-up. Problem is, it dosent have information on any Ford Rangers for the inside to figuire out which of the mounting plates I need to use. Is there any type of vehicle that is the exact same as a 2000 Ford Ranger like maybe the explorer or something? I could post all of the car selections from my booklet if needed.

Not sure what you mean, the mounting kit should bolt right up. Take some pics.

I have multiple mounting options depending on what type of truck I have, The installation guide dosent give me help on a Ford Ranger so I'm asking what would be the same as a ford ranger? Here's a pic of everything that came with the kit other then the guide.

the top right piece looks right for single din if that's what you're running, take your dash apart and mix and match. It will all come together.

you have to break off those tabs top and bottom, then the mounting bracket just clips in.

----------

its the one on the top left.

Ok... So the one on the top left or the top right. I've gotten two different answers? Also how would you know which one is the right one?

Mine looks like the TOP LEFT one, you'll need to snip the tabs off the top/sides.

Depending on the kit, the cubby hole will either go on top of the radio or under the radio.

When you go to snap the dash kit into the radio bezel, it will normally only fit in one direction where the kit snaps into place. If it doesn't snap into place easily, there's a good chance it's upside down.

Once you figure out which end is up, your radio should have a metal sleeve around it that needs to be removed & slid into the dash kit, crimped in place or bend the tabs over to lock it into place. Then just push the radio into the sleeve, snap it in place, wire the radio up, put the bezel back in place & test everything out.

You can tell which way it goes by the inside shape of the cubby. Flat part faces down. Flat part up would mean round part down, and nothing would stay in there!

It should go either way, Mine is ment to have cubby at top but I put cubby at bottom. I dont use the cubby anyhow.

It is defenatly the top left in your pic.
