I see that and appreciate you for letting me know and giving me your advice and help. If I may ask, could I get a few pictures from you of the kit from the site? Do you have it installed in your truck and how long have you had it installed? Does it still work today? I would really appreciate it, thank you.

I agree with stringburner. I installed a kit from them on my Ranger. Been on there 3.5 years and no problems.

Okay, well to me, probably whichever is cheaper and yet still performs like OEM, I'll bite. I'll take another look at it. Thanks guys.

----------

Just looked at the site again. I'm not really looking to buy a kit with remote because I already have a remote for my Viper alarm. And I don't want the trouble to re wire anything or add wires to my alarm. just want a simple plug and play install that I can unlock both doors by turning my key into the door. That and lock both doors by either doing the key to the door method or pushing down on the plunger which will activate both doors to lock at the same time.

Don't 90+ % of viper alarms have hooks up to use with factory keyless already? And if so. just wire the kit to that, then you have the one remote.

Well I think my kit falls into the 10% category where it's only a Remote start and alarm. It's the Viper 5701.

I'm gonna go with the kit from the website that I posted on this thread (the one without the key). I might go with the one with the harness to connect to a alarm system for keyless entry but need more research and how hard it would be to install it myself doing it that way.
