i want to make the dash and doors black but don't want to have to take apart the truck because this is my only truck and need it for school and work everyday so i used spray on bedliner or my sanded chrome bumpers and want the same look for my dash so will the roll on liner work?

I dont think it would stick very well, plus it may make it smell like the liner for a long time. Try painting it instead

i sanded my doors down and used vinyl dash spray paint but it wouldnt stick it was like water and ran alot and now its flaky

I'm not too fond of painting the dash, I did my bezels though with krylon fusion then clear coated it and it came out great

did you take them out to do it? or just tape off everything

The bezels just popped off. I sanded them, then washed them with soapy water and dried them completely. Then I painted them

No problem, just keep in mind when painting if you do the dash, make sure you get advice on the the effect it may have on the airbag

damn didnt even think of that . well i was just looking for a quick paint job i guess ill scrap that idea

I would scrap the dash Idea but the panels and bezels can definately be done!!

yea i'd like to at least do something to the truck i'd like to get a 2'' lift but again i have no idea how to do alot of this stuff so i usually wing it

There are tons of things to do! Start doing what you can afford to do. If you run into jams with anything post it up here, thats what everyone is here for. I got my truck less than a year ago and didnt know a thing about it til I joined here. Dont be afraid to ask anything man. Its a great group on here, they helped me out ALOT and saved me alot of money!
