2005 Gauge Mod?

I wanna replace the bulbs in my Gauges with LEDs. That is the simple part. My question is can somebody please show me the thread to remove the Gauges, remove the green and paint them, and finally how to reinstall it without me totally screwing my self over by messing up my speedometer and stuff? I d really appreciate it. I have a digital odometer so if I unplug it, it will not reset will it?

On removing the needles off the gauge it self. They just spin and they pop off. Dont just pull up on them. That is just for 2004+ the older ones you use a fork and pop off.

once i take off the needles can i get to the back to try and remove that green film stuff?

to remove the green film you take the needles off, pry up the gauge overlays and sand off all the green film. then paint the color you'd like on there.

Ya there are little alignment pins it will just pop off.
