I have a 1994 XL (with sport stckers all over it) its a reg cab long box 2.3l 4 cyl 5 speed stick. I just tore apart the dash and replaced the two burnt out lights, the seat belt indicator and the high beam indicator lights. I replaced them with the proper bulbs. 194's

i turned on the high beams and turned them off before putting back together the dash and the indicator lights still havn't worked. the new lights i put in didnt burn out either. i've had the truck for about 2 weeks now.

i'm also wondering, there's a black plug with two prongs inside of it that a male plug would fit into that is mounted where the heat blows onto the floor. if you're sitting behind the gearshift it its infront of it under the dash i guess. to the right of the gas pedal 4 inches above the transfer case.

there is another plug that wont fit or reach into that plug. its grey and about the same size. i can't find anything that it would plug into any thoughts? its pretty much righ above the gas pedal... is that just supposed to be there?

Does your truck have drl by chance?...Not sure if they were on the 94's....check in behind /under the drivers side headlight....look for a module...if it has one...chances are it's shot.
