Default arm rest adjustment

i put a 12 inch sub in my truck over the holidays and im a tall guy who needs leg room in my reg cab truck... but when i push my seat back the arm rest interferes with the movement of the sub... so i was wondering if there was a way to move your armrest so it sits further up to stop the interference... any ideas or comments would be greatly appreciated

I believe with your truck the armrest still hase the metal brackets which the armrest is mounted to. The only way that I could see moving the armrest would be bending the brackets or totally removing them which I dont recommend doing either. Maybe your best bet would be relocating the sub

Wouldn't you have to tear into the seat to re-mount them? Can that be done without tearing into the seats?
