reducing rattling?
I have a sub that hits pretty hard but my whole interior rattles ridiculously is there any kind of insulation or anything to get some of that toned down? Mainly the back panel is the worst. Any ideas would be awesome, thanks guys

Re: reducing rattling?
I'm looking at doing some sound proofing/anti-rattle with either bquiete or second skin as they are less expensive than dynamatt

Re: reducing rattling?
Before you go spending a bunch of money on legit sound deadener, check out Peel and Seal from Lowes. I know it doesn't sound great but look up some videos of it on YouTube and you'll see why I chose it. I put it on my front doors and will soon be putting it on my headliner and back wall. It's only $20 for a 6"x25' roll. Some people say it stinks. I just let it sit unrolled in my garage overnight with a fan on it and it didn't have a smell whatsoever. It actually didn't even smell when I first got it. I highly recommend this stuff though. Even with it only being on my front doors, just the little things like road noise have been cut down somewhat.

Re: reducing rattling?
Ranger101 glad to hear it worked well for you I was looking at eh Peel and Seal and as well the Quick Roof they sell at Home Depot but they don't have it available in Canada as well at $1.60 a square ft it's more expensive the B-Quite Extreme http://www.b-quiet.com/compare.html
Haven't decided what I'm going with yet but I'm leaning towards either BQuite or Peel and Seal/Quick Roof if I can find it locally.

Re: reducing rattling?
The peel and seal is absolutely *horrible* and I highly/very much suggest you do not mess with that crap.
If it were me(and your rear was the biggest concern) I would just order some sound deadener from a company. I use BXT II from Raam Audio. Rick, the owner, is a great guy and is always willing to work with you.
Its better(in my opinion) than Dynamat, I know for a fact its better than the B-Quiet, it works better than Fatmat and several other deadeners as well. It is also cheaper than mosto thers. Good luck!
