BRU you could put something inside the ball to keep it from spinning so far round before it becomes tight? like a paper wad? might have to play with it a few times before you get it right?

it should have a locknut on the bottom.

you spin the nut up and the ball down to get it where you want to and in a locked position.

also, the nut should countour to the inside of the ball.

there should be a jam nut that goes down the threaded section first. thread it all the way down. then the ball goes one. screw it down as far as you want, with the numbers facing the way you want. then run the other nut back up and tighten the two together. it will "jam" the two nuts and hold them tight.

you can see it in the upper left corner.

^ follow said picture.

theres a nut that threads on before the ball goes on.

then you put the ball on.

you screw the nut back up a hair and the ball down at the same time (all to get it locked in place.

so nut on threads first, then ball then twist them against eachother basically.

I was assuming the knob didn't have a nut.. and the ball wasn't lining up when tight..
Wow, that's self explanatory, lol...
