New (old school) emblem in gauge cluster.
I am getting a white gauge cluster so I am giving my exsisting cluster to my ol man, ( he has NON-tach ). I thought I would "jazz" it up a bit by doing something with the dead space were the gear selector is for the autos. (We both have manuals). I found my old '67 emblems and used the glove box emblem for the center in the cluster. I think it look awesome.
Would look better in the silver cluster cause the letters of the emblem are silver not black like the one on the table. But it looks so bad ass!
I had to use the dremel to widen the area. The emblems are just long enough to cover the blinkers, I'm trying to figure out a way to cut an arrow shape out of the emblem and overlay the whole thing, I think that would be cool to. well see.

that looks sweet. I just printed out my own custom thing onto a sticky label and cut it to size and stuck it on the gear selector delete. took some trial and error testing but it was worth it

^^^ that looks good, drppylwrngr is sending me one that just says F O R D. It is white so it will match the new cluster. I though bout doing the old school for the white gauges, but the selector area is oval on those, it is square on the older style, so the emblem fits better I think than it would on the oval.

Okay, got the odometers swapped, needles on and in the truck! I used the battery method in the how to section to reset needles. worked like a champ!

This is exactly why ford should have representatives that surf these forums! That looks sweet and should come from the factory like that.

hahaha, I did that with my 97 years ago. Its in the how to for odometer reseting. Basically, you hook up a AA and the needle will go to ie: 70, then you know where to put it after you take it apart and put it back together.
