new speakers in door but door rattles
okay so i have a brand new 2010 ranger and i did not like the stock sound system so i bought 2 5x7 speakers for my doors... on my passenger door there is a rattle... i know its not the speaker cuz ive dynamated both... i dont know if anyone will have an answer but if someone has some suggestions id appreciate it... it sounds like its from the pannel somewhere or maybe the manual locks

May I ask how you fit 6x9s in the rear? Did you have to run new wires in your '10 XL as well?

yea i ran new wires under the molding thats on the floor that runs along your door.. and i just drilled new holes in the stock mounts to allow it to fit... makesure to put dynamat along the back wall of your truck where the speker is going to be because the back of the speaker touches the back of the truck and it makes a rattling noise if it isnt there

my door rattles and ive upgraded speakers also. ima try slamming that door panel also. i have an 08 ranger and its got the same problems youd find in a old truck lol
