My next question, I have found a bunch of 4 door explorers in the year range of 95-01. Does it matter if its 2 door or 4 door? I didnt see anything throughout this thread. Thanks

nope it doesnt matter...no expo seats will bolt into a 98+ reg cab ranger

Will anything bolt in? I can do some fabrication. Seems that I keep getting a bunch of no's.

a set of buckets from a 98+ reg cab will bolt right in...nothing else without serious modifications

So regular ranger cab seats it is than huh. Thanks for the help. Looks my junkyard journeys just got a little bit harder. The junk yards around here don't have many rangers.

you can use explorer seats, but you would need to get a set of gen 3 reg cab tracks as well. you will probably need to mod them slightly, but shouldn't be too much if you can do light fab (mainly drilling new holes in the tracks). this would also allow you to use mustang, bronco II, any other ones from the list. just mount your seat belt to the side of your seat and go.

just don't get any power seats (explorer). power lumbar would be ok, but no power movement. you wouldn't be able to use it anyways.

Drp, forgive me for asking stupid questions, I am new to this. But what are-gen 3 reg cab tracks?? I mean, where di I find them and How can I be sure I have them? Once I get my truck apart I have no way to make runs to the J/Y haha...

OK! Niiiice! So my first order of Business will be get these tracks- My plan is this-#1 Find the tracks. #2 Pull the passengers side first so I can still drive #3 Find Bucket seats that fit these said Tracks so everything Bolts in- #4 Repeat Steps 1, 2, 3 on the drivers side! OK.... Couple more thoughts here- How about Console? and Flooring? Whats my best options for least amount of $$$? thanks friends...

ok so just making everything 100% before i buy buckets out of a explorer for my ranger. i have a 95 extended cab. from what i see on here expo buckets should bolt right in to my truck?

so what do i need to kno?
do they bolt right in? what year expos do i need to look between? do i have to swap my track on to the expo buxkets?
just have to have everything 100% before i start.

95-01 ex, or up to 03 ex sports/tracs will bolt in directly using explorer tracks (manual or power). you may need to enlarge a couple holes, but nothing major.

I found some really nice Mustang seats - do the tracks work or do I need to swap.
