I have poured over this thread and I hope I know the answer to my question even though I don't see mention here: ( I guess it could be somewhere in the 37 pages but I didn't see it....)

Will the same seats that fit a 2002 Ranger extended cab fit a 2002 Mazda B3000 extended cab? (the answer I'm hoping for is "yes.") I know the B3000 was built by Ford but I'm not sure about the floor pan shape and the seat tracks. BTW, mine is currently a 60/40 seat and I want buckets and a console.

Yes. The trucks were identical structure wise.

Is there any recommendations on a bench seat for the xranger? also is there any options for a small bench seat to replace those useless jump seats?

Default Seat swap on a 1995 Ranger extended cab, have an issue with seat belt

I picked up some cheap 2006 Ranger extended cab seats to put in my 1995 Ranger extended cab but noticed an issue with the seat belt. The seat belts are different from 95 to 06 of course, but I don't see how to use my existing seat belt with the new seat.

The 95 seat belt attaches to the floor near the middle, but there is also a little rail that helps the belt move forward and back when the seat position is adjusted. The 06 seat belt receiver mounts directly to the seat.

Pics of the dark gray 06 seat and silver 95 seat. Note the seat belt rail in the top picture further below. I don't care to keep the seat belt rail, just want a functional and safe seat belt.

1) Has anyone else encountered this problem on a seat swap if so what did you do?

2) The 06 seat bolts are about 3mm larger than the 95 bolts. Is there enough material on the frame to drill & tap to the larger bolts?

Seats from a 2006 Ranger Extended will NOT fit in a 1995 Ranger Extended. The seat belt mount on the 2006 is much different (and these seats came with side airbags to complicate things). There was no hole to screw the '95 seat belt base into. Would not feel comfortable drilling and tapping a hole, so these beautiful seats are going up for sale locally.

If anyone needs some very low wear 2006 Ranger seats hit me up. $75 takes both.

If it had side air bags, they were from a 2010 or 2011.

Yard I bought from said it was a 06 model, but they may have not had the right info. I'm out some bucks and need to offload these seats now. They are very comfy wish I could use them.

Need a bit of info here.
Preferably from someone who has actually did the swap.
I have a 2010 standard cab and I want to get rid of the seats that are in there now. They are the 60/40 ones. I would prefer separate bucket seats.
I want to keep the passenger side airbags functional. If I have to disable the 'no passenger' sensor that is ok, as a last resort.
The Corbeau sports seats with the Ford Explorer 92-01 Seat Brackets are just way to expensive a gamble if they don't fit or I cannot get the airbag to function as above.
Buying Explorer seats and having them re-upholstered would be an option. Again if I can get the airbags functioning.

So, here goes the questions.
1. How well will the Corbeau option work?
2. Are there other aftermarket seats that are more affordable.
3. How well will the Explorer option work?

I went through this thread pretty quickly and if I missed the answer to my questions...be gentle.

Thank you for letting me ask the questions.

I just put a pair of 95 Mustang seats in my 99 Ranger by using this method.
Thank you
I just got a sweet set from a 94 Mustang. Your info answered a few questions.

My first question here, I couldn't get through every page so may have already been answered. I have a 2007 Ranger Ext cab with the console. Looking to see what seats can be swapped in. Not sure if the rails are the same as the older trucks which is why I'm asking. Thanks
