Re: Seats that fit in the Ranger
hey guys, I'm confused as to the first chart. is the year listed the year of the ranger I have, or is that the year of the seat doner vehicle? i have a 2010 Ranger ext cab 4x4 sport. is there any seats (leather, power, heat)

Re: Seats that fit in the Ranger
I would be real happy with more leg room in a standard cab, ask before but no one had any ideas about that.

Re: Seats that fit in the Ranger
Ok I've seen it asked before but to get the answer for my specific truck mod here goes again. I have a 99 x cab 2wd. What tracks do I need to swap seats and what seats work best with those tracks. Thanks for your patience with this guys. I'm looking for the most plush and comfortable seats I can get my hands on

you don't need to swap the tracks if your extended cab so you can get explorer seats

you can use any where from 96-2001 explorer seats, I recommend the leather limited seats or the Eddie bower leather seats there the most "comfy". And if you want to go above and beyond you can get a pair of seats(in my case limited leather seats) and have new foam and reupholstered in new leather (in my case black) and they will look factory as well as being very comfy.

yep only thing you have todo is drill out the two front holes on each seat just a tad, and run a power and ground to each seat.

Re: Seats that fit in the Ranger
Has anyone tried fitting newer explorer seats into either a 93-97 or a 98+? There is an 08 explorer at my local yard with beautiful seats that I would love to get if I could put then in either of my trucks.

Thanks, I think you're right. So I found another set I like, but don't know the year. Can anyone tell me about what year this expo sport is?

Re: Seats that fit in the Ranger
This is a pretty awesome thread. I might go crawl around some junked explorers to see what's available to me now.
Anyone try to go the other way, though? Taking out 60/40 or buckets and putting in a standard old bench seat?
