Re: Seats that fit in the Ranger
That generation Mustang has it's bolt pattern at 14" square. I bolted up a set from a 2002 into my 1996 standard cab. There are several additional mounting holes already there if needed. For some reason I did not take a pic without a track installed (standard cab tracks are two piece, not sure about extended cabs). This is the underside of the passenger side 2002 Mustang seat with the outer track installed.

Re: Seats that fit in the Ranger
Everything is doable if you have the skills and tool for it, but are they really that comfy? After driving the work truck I really have to get back on my escape seat swap.

Free is always nice but since youll have to modify the bracket to fit them in you might wanna check a wreckyard if you have one near by, I paid 70$ for a pair or leather heated seat out of an Escape, also picked up a pair of captain seat for my rv for 35$ when they had a 50% discout at the picknpull.

Re: Seats that fit in the Ranger
Stupid enought the junk yard here is asking like new price and there is no picknpull. they want a 100$ for a hood for the truck, and it came from another 93 ranger which mean it is rusted...

Thanks they are out of a 2003? F150. It was the rear captains seats and console. They did recline from the factory but I lost all that when I cut the brackets off the 150 seats. There is metal cross bars that go across the 150 seats that I welded to the ranger brackets it's not to hard if you have a welder and grinder and skill enough to know it won't break in an accident. Then the seats just bolt in factory floor holes.
The console I had to cut like 8 inches off the bottom front in like the shape of a pizza to make it sit level. I just eyed it up and it works.

Re: Seats that fit in the Ranger
So I've read all the pages and detirmed what will fit. My question: guy is selling 97 explorr leather seats already off the vehicle. What if he didn't save the tracks or the bolts. Would I still be able to install it using parts from the ranger tracks

Would be a pain in the ass to make your rail fit on the exp seats, but its eaier to remove the seat and rails when you take em off the truck so unless he wanted the rails for some reason they should come with it.

Re: Seats that fit in the Ranger
direct bolt in for a 93-7. don't need the explorer tracks or bolts.
