Re: Seats that fit in the Ranger
height shouldn't be an issue. you will not be able to use the power tracks. they won't bolt up to a reg cab. you can drill new holes through the floor. or get a set of 93-7 reg cab ranger tracks and bolt them to the explorer seats. they will pretty much drop in then.

Re: Seats that fit in the Ranger
What is the specific reason I won't be able to use the power tracks? Because holes don't line up? or is there another glaring issue I'm missing? I'm totally okay with the fabrication and wiring aspect of this swap to make it work perfectly.

Re: Seats that fit in the Ranger
bolt holes don't line up. there are two different length tracks used in the rangers. a short one in the ext cabs and a longer one in reg cabs (iirc. it's either that way or visa versa. either way, they won't swap). the explorer seats use the same tracks length as the ext cab ranger. the front two should line up with the reg cab, but the rear two will not. it may cause the seat to lean forward, i'm not sure. would love to see some pics if you decide to use them.

Re: Seats that fit in the Ranger
I'll be sure to take pics, I think I should be able to make them work...I haven't got the other seats out yet to take a look at the floor and see what I'm dealing with so I don't know for sure yet, but I'm confident! Aha.

Question about hybrid seat setup
So my question is can I just swap the base of a seat to make it a bucket seat as I rather not cut the middle of my 60/40 and I have the air bag seats so I was kind of hopping the base was the same for most year.

Re: Seats that fit in the Ranger
So I got a set of tracks and the weight sensor for the passenger side, does anyone have any wiring diagram for the ranger seats for 2010, I had no luck so far finding it.

those years tracks are not interchangeable. you will need to swap the tracks with the years that those seats were made.

Re: Seats that fit in the Ranger
My drivers seat crapped out in my 94. I went to the yard today and there's a 2000 Explorer with some nice power seats in it.......will these swap exactly for my extended cab? and will I be able to get them power without having to rewire?

Re: Seats that fit in the Ranger
yes, they should bolt right in. as for power, you will have to run a hot and a ground to the seat from the fuse box.
