My truck came with manual locks windows and mirrors... I plan to get an alarm over christmas and believe I need to change to power locks... I found this kit online Clicky What do you guys think? Any suggestions or recommendations? I think i'll also have to get Clicky. What do you guys think? Does anyone know of any better kits? Or recommend anything??

Thanks!

I got a cheap $50 kit with wireless control and no switches . The kit works whenever you unlock the drivers door with the key or wireless fob it will unlock both doors. Also when you push down the lock pin on the drivers side door it will auto lock the passenger side. I love the clean look and I have not had any problems with it at all. I added power mirrors from an '89 ESCORT. While I was at it I picked up the window regulators and motors from a similar year RANGER and did those too. I just got a switch kit off of Ebay and that made the whole thing super easy. No hacking into my factory harness and still has the feel and reliability of factory equipment. It took the better part of a day to do it but it was worth it. By the way I have had this truck for 19 years and I just did this a couple of months ago. Once you do the locks you will really want to do the windows and by the way that set looks just like the actuators that I used in my set-up. Good luck! Its really not that hard to do, just take your time and plan accordingly.

i used these in my 69 f-250 as well, SUPER EASY install on that. going to get the same thing for my 97 ranger. and they work great! and i like the feature of locking the driver door with the button and autolocking the passenger. it's been a very reliable set thus far.

Yeah i used that same exact kit, just bought locally, didt want to wair for it lol. Its an easy kit to install and the directions that come with it were pretty good. Its all pretty self explanatory once you take a look at the diagrams that come with it.
