Default ohc temp sensors.

so it looks like the sensor with the red/pink is the same as the blue/yellow.

From fords website http://www.fordparts.com/Commerce/Ca...WLK+LH7viyyDAr

The part number on the sensor from the red/pink that I got is the same number.

Also, I pulled out the sensors from each one, they both have the same part number. 12A647-AA

So, when your bone yarding and see one with red/pink, grab it. It will work.

The sensors are different part numbers and one has triple the base impedance of the other. The overhead console temperature display would be totally incorrect using the EATC sensor.

Part numbers dont lie. I have both sensors right infront of me, they both have the same part number. Ford does not even list the sensor for the EATC, nor does any autoparts store.

The Ex overhead console has been a popular Ranger mod for several years and quite a few people have had a problem trying to use the EATC sensor. It makes the console readout much lower than actual.
