Alright i am thinking about asking for a new set of seats for christmas and all i want is like a reall cheep set of racing buckets. i know you can like get them cheap on amazon but i dont quite know how to check for clearence and bolt pattern you know. i think new seats would look awsome in my single cab plus i kinda need the space... check my photos.. but i would prefer like a set for under $300 and keep in mind i gotta persuade my parents with the info you guys give me

Ask for a saw and/or a sewing machine and make your 60/40 cooler. Practice on your shit then charge people to do theirs. This is the original 60/40 bench seats that came in the truck...just chopped up and recovered.

wow that is sweet. do you got any instructions on how to do it cause like i kinda want to make them just a little bit smaller but i like the way there is no center counsel

take the cloth and cushins off, then cut the frame off for the middle, to make the passener and drivers seats look the same (symetrical) then put the cushin on and cut the section where the middle was but save the edge to glue it on the edge of the drivers cushin so it looks like the passener seat bottom. Then if you don't want to completely redo the seat covers you can tuck the excess fabric under the seat and you won't be able to tess if you get a middle console out of an explorer or somethin.

You can bolt in some seats from other Fords, see below:

Some of them may require swapping your current seat tracks to the new donor seats, but that's usually no big deal.
