If you have the same model as the US trucks, you can swap in a dome light from an explorer or ranger. Can find them on ebay or even the junkyards for cheap.

Ran across this thread here and on many other RBV forums. This has become a very popular mod for Rangers, I put one in my 02 XLT, and in my 86 B2. The Ranger is most generally a direct bolt in, the B2 requires the base and a little modification. The picture is from my B2, but looks the same in the Ranger. A lot of Explorers have had them, and some Mustangs, as well as other Ford Vehicles. If you have the time, you can scour a wrecking yard and pick on up for $5 or so, (make sure you keep the screws).
This is an easy mod that requires a phillips screw driver and about a half hour.
