your right i had to do this last week when i bought 98 seats. did not fit in my ranger with the stock rails. so i had to change out my 01 rails over to the 98 seats. talk about a lot of work right there!! 4 bolts on the passenger seat 5 on the 60/40 seat aka driver side. plus like you said the 2 bolts on the backrest on each seat. on the 60/40 seat you have to remove the center council then wiggle your socket down in there. but on the passengers seat its not that bad being that there only buckets. taking out 4 seats with no power tools is a bitch man!! lol
