Default Shelf-It Overhead Storage...

Any body have one of these in their Ranger? I am curious how much room they really take up.

Just looks like a place to put shit to let it slide out and hit you in the face.

Yeah, and when you get in an accident all the stuff on there is going right at you, and/or your passenger's head.

x2. I keep a 15 shot tube feed marlin 22 in my truck and it stays behind the seats. I don't think I would trust that shelf with it.

Haha agreed, with my kind of driving nothing would stay up there.

I like it because my truck has NO storage. I am kind of interested in this.

I saw this in the LMC catalog and thought it would be pretty ridiculous in my single cab small truck.

Get a toolbox, everything is contained in that box that way.

I've got a toolbox. I want more interior storage. No center console or map pockets in the doors at this time.

I have seen them in full size trucks and they actually looked good and practical. I am skeptical of them in a Ranger tho. I would love to see how much space they really take up. If its not to much I would probably pick one up.

Put a CB up there, CD's, and all the other crap that floats around my cab. A tool box does not solve that issue. Plus my tool box is full Its like Jenga puzzle in there if it aint perfect it wont close lol

position both your sun visors so that they are slightly lower than plane. Drive that way for a few days straight. When you get into the habit of stopping 50 extra ft away from traffic lights so that you can see them, you'll be ready to purchase. If you don't get the urge to move 'em then you'll probably be happy with 'em.
