Default Water on my floor boards!

Hi. I drive a 2002 Ford Ranger Flex Fuel 3.0 liter 2wd. About a year ago I noticed that the plastic cover on my Driver side Rocker panel (It straddles the rocker panel) was cracked. I then noticed my carpet on the drivers side was pretty wet. Since then it happened a couple of more times and I figured it was because of the cracked plastic piece. Well I took out my carpet this weekend (to Clean it) and to put new plastic covers in. While the carpet was drying I noticed some rust so I took care of that best I could and parked the car for the night last night (outside). It rained and when I went to go to work this morning (I live less than a half mile from work - Didn't think driving it with no carpet was a big deal and seat is bolted in!) there was water not only on the drivers side floor board but the passengers as well. It never left the parking spot! This tells me gravity is bringing it in from up top somewhere but I am not sure. Anyone know where the water could be coming from? I do have some rust forming around my Front windshield but it is at the top middle of the windshield.

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Third brake light. It will run down around the rear window and end up on the floor boards. I made a rubber seal for mine and no more leaking.

Smile Re: Water on my floor boards!

Thanks for the help everyone. it turns out it was the weatherstripping AND the 3rd brake light. I bought some weatherstripping adhesive and glued it yesterday. The weatherstripping was in good condition (I armor-all them regularly when i wash the truck) but the glue that adhered it tot he truck wore out!

200,500+ miles and still going strong!
