Default Help with interior paneling.

Can't figure out how to remove the clips holding on the interior paneling without breaking them. Also how to remove dash.

Need some help

They make a special tool for removing the clips. I used one the other day and the clips come right out with little effort. The clips I removed with the tool were a little beat up, but look like they will work fine if needed.

Ya need a tool for those

if you removing the dash to paint save your self some time and just mask it off.

U will need to remove the steering wheel or lower the steering wheel shaft to fully remove it

looks something like this. Basically just pull the fastner up to slide the "fork" behind it then pull out


if you can sneak a fork out of the house without the wife noticing modify one to look something like that

Im kinda new to this stuff. I fashioned one from a fork like you said, but what does it do? Is it supposed to release something behind it?

No it creates equal pressure around the circle part so you don't rip it apart.

If u just pull one side the circle part will separate from the post

Doesn't Crutchfield sell those? I have been meaning to look into that with my next order.
