My Ranger drivers side door wont go up.. I have to wiggle it front to back for it to go uo. The PO had an accident with a trailer and it hit just under the mirror. (Unloaded a 2 wheeled trailer without it hitched). Any way I took the panel off and lubed it all up and I can get it up but only if I wiggle it , but how do I get it to go up by itself It goes down fine...(haha made mysself laugh at that sentence)

Anyways, could it be a fuse?

If you can hear the motor, your need a new window regulator...

I've had this problem a few times. But it turned out that where it had the automatic down when you just tap the button, once it went all the way down the window would stop but the button would stay on auto somehow. So now when I put my driver side window down, when it gets to the bottom i tap the button for it to go up to make sure it doesn't get stuck... its just a habit now. hope that helps... if not.. probably the motor
