First go here:http://www.fordrangerforum.com/inter...placement.html This will explain how to take out your cluster and change the bulbs.

Next go here: 2003 Ranger Cluster - LED Lighting Project This wont really explain how to do a full LED conversion but the pictures will give you an idea on how it's done the right way. It will take a lot of time and patience and basic skills or electrical work such as wiring, soldering, resistors and so on. I did this method and here is mine (not current):http://www.fordrangerforum.com/membe...on/4061-angle/ I'll take a better one for you and send it in a PM.

If you do not want to go that route and want a simple LED PNP (plug and play) conversion, go here: http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b...FWLED-xHP5.htm These bulbs are what you need. It will give you that "LED look" to your gauges but it will leave a few "hotspots". If you haven't painted your overlays, than it should come out looking like this:leds

Hope that helped and oh, your welcome.

One thing I found out today when referring to instrument gauge cluster bulb replacement was that you have remove the shift indicator assembly if you want to get cluster completely out, which is not covered in explanation or pictures though I see the shift indicator in the pics but not how to remove it. I was fortunate enough to have a ford shop manual to explain how to do this, otherwise you will break the small fragile wire that connects it to the shift lever under the dash. This is an important step that can be very frustrating for those of us with automatics for sure. After a few minutes of studying how it was connected and how to adjust it so the indicator will line properly in the correct position, I got it out of the cluster so I could pull the cluster completely out. At least now I can see all of gauges at nite, live and learn they say.
