Are you speaking of a Tonneau cover?

Pictured here is a hard tonneau:

Pictured here is a soft tonneau:

Pictured here is the Ford Accessory tonneau that I believe is out of production now:

You don't have to go to Ford for your tonneau cover. You'll probably save money AND end up with a far better product if you search in the aftermarket. Below is a set of links of tonneau manufacturers to take a peek at....

Many including myself love the advantages of a roll-up soft tonneau. Overall cost is cheaper and you don't have the hassle of needing to remove the entire cover to use your truck as a truck. Plus, no expensive paint to worry about. You don't have to go new, pay attention to your local classifieds on craigslist or even on here in the classified section or on any of the other Ranger Forums that are out there.

If your Ford dealer is having a hard time, you should pickup one of their accessory brochures and I'm pretty sure they list a couple different options to choose from.

My '93 had an interior cargo cover...retracted into the back wall. It was cool to have.
