Default Instrument Cluster
94 Ranger 2.3L 4 cyl. 5spd. I have several lights out on instrument panel making it difficult to drive at night. How difficult is it to replace bulbs, and does anybody have any tips ?

I have a 2007 Ranger XL and the dash does not illuminate with the headlights off. Is this the way it is or am I missing something. Thanks, Soapy

It will only light up with the headlights on or the park lights on

how do you replace the lights with LED's? do you have to buy certain LED's? step by step info would be greatly appreciated!

ya buy LED's from www.superbrightled.com and solder them in.

there isnt any step by step directions here but a few have some pics up. JP7 has a bunch of LED stuff

Doing that soldering with the lights bought leave hot spots or is it a full cover led lightup on the cluster where there is no hot spots?

Ya there are hot spots but you add more or do something with foil to make it go away.
