you'll have the airbag light on your dash if you do it in the 08 but bolt in, yes if you have an extended cab it should be the same unless u swap tracks.

The ones I looked at had at least a dozen wires connected to it.
Must have been different.

I swapped 98 expo power seats in my 96 super cab Ranger recently...
best mod I've done in a Looooooong time.

One of the bracket holes had to be drilled out about 1/8" to make it easier to bolt in & I ran a new power/fuse/ground for the seats.
I think I had to swap some of the brackets from my old seats to the expo seats, mine were angled & the expo's were straight. Took all of 10 minutes... 5 min of that was cleaning the filth off the bolts.

I modded the console a bit too, it fit perfectly but I had to make some rear mounts.
I also removed the pass side airbag switch from the ashtray location & modded it into the side of the expo console... I did more mods to the console, but I can't remember what all I've done right now.

yea, but only 2 are necessary. the power and the ground. the rest go to memory functions and other things our rangers cant do, mine had all those wires aswell.
