Arrow window chatter?

hey everybody,

my power windows shake and chatter when they are going down. They dont do it nearly as much when they're going up though. Is there some way i can re-align my windows cause it seems to me like one day they're gonna fall off the tracks or something. Thanks for the 2 cents

Silicone spray in the window tracks helps. Every ranger I have had does this, especially after it rains.

I'm having the same problem. The silicone spray didn't work.

vibration is caused by friction of a moving part any lubricant has to help, thr might be a little play in the track bolts, but not much for adjustment.. I suggest cleaning the track very good b4 lubricating with silicone spray and greasing the regulators and hinges (u can buy lithium grease in aerosol can, do not spray this in window track)

I know in the earlier trucks like my 97, the rails were a fraction smaller then they should have been. Usually you have to either go back in and regrease it with some damn good grease or you have to replace the sliders with newer ones. You might just have to replace the regulator and rail, that's just my thoughts.
