Default Rear window deforster ?

This may be a really stupid question but why don't pick up trucks (not just Rangers) have them? is it because the cab is so small the front defroster eventually clears the back window?

no thats exclusive to explorers,n suv type vehicles,n broncos with extended back areas,or vehicles sent from manufacturers to hard winter locations, or as an extra package deal at dealership, or like my ext.cab ranger in 1987 broncoII's and few ranger4x4 ext.cabs were given rear defrost to be used for hard winter locations,to be used as small utility 4x4 snowplowers.

I've heard that along with DRL's that rear defrosters are mandatory in Canada.

My front defroster clears the rear windows just fine, and quick too.
