My dome lights were missing when i got my truck. No bulbs, no clear cover. All that's there is four metal or coper flat strips where they should be, im guessing. I already purchased two 12 volt dome light bulbs, i just have no idea as to where to start. Any help will be greatly appreciated. If someone would like, i can easily take a pic of it.

I was in the same situation when I got my truck, I had to take the bulb out to turn it off, plus the cover was taped up. I went to the salvage yard and grabbed a couple dome lights out some Taurus there were two styles. The DLs in the Taurus have a 3 wire harness, but also have that L pattern that the rangers have, I terminated the wires coming out of the harness and screwed them through the plate into there respective slots on the roof as shown in the picture.

It was a perfect fit.. plus the lights were free with my new dash cluster.

My Taurus has that same dome light, same color too! You usually saw those when they had the sunroof. the other kind they used is the one like in the Mustang dome light mod in the How To section.
